Love's Shadow by Ada Leverson - Bringing out the varieties of love

Ada Leverson was a British writer, who is well-known for her work as a novelist. She began writing during the 1890s and has contributed many novels that were equally compared with great writers at her time.

Love's Shadow is part of The Bloomsbury Group -- a new library of books from the early twentieth-century. It is the first novel written by Ada Leverson in which Edith and Bruce Ottley live in a very small white flat in Knightsbridge. Even though they are considered to be one of the respectable couples in Edwardian London, Edith is beginning to feel a little bored with ghastly Bruce Ottley, who is pompous and vain.

But things started to change for Edith as excitement comes in the form of the impressive and glamorous Hyacinth Verney, who is in love with the elusive and showy Cedric Reeve. He, in his turn, is fascinated and infatuated with an enigmatic widow some ten years older than him, Mrs. Raymond, who contempt his attentions and insists him to marry Hyacinth. But, Hyacinth is loved by her guardian Lord Cannon, who is unhappily married to the redoubtable and self deluding Lady Cannon.

In the meanwhile, Lord Selsey -- uncle of Cedric, gets attracted by Mrs. Raymond and marries her. On hearing this, Cedric changes his mind and marries Hyacinth, but still has a secret feel and love over Mrs. Raymond. In the meanwhile, Bruce, who is furious at Hyacinth's marriage, is doubted by Edith, thinking that he has love over Hyacinth. Soon, things get messed up in everyone’s life for a meantime and finally end in a desired manner.

Catching Fire by Suzanne Collins - An adventure novel

Suzanne Collins is an American author and cartoon writer. She began her career in 1991 as a writer for children's Television shows and has worked on several television shows.

Catching Fire is the second book in the Hunger Games Trilogy written by Suzanne Collins. According to the story, every year in Panem -- a country located in modern-day North America, the Capitol holds a tournament that is broadcasted in television in which two teen tributes from each of the surrounding districts will fight a gruesome battle to the death. The game is called as Hunger Games and in this game, Katniss Everdeen and Peeta Mellark -- the tributes from poor District Twelve, threatening the Gamemakers to commit suicide at the end of the game, which permitted them both to win.


After winning the game, Katniss and Peeta planned to start a victory tour, which covers most of the districts of the company. In the meanwhile, the sinister President Snow surprises her with a visit and informs her that when she defied the Capitol, she started a chain reaction and has created talk of rebellion in the districts. He also blackmail to kill her best friend -- Gale, if she can’t prove to everyone in Panem that her act was not one of defiance, but that she was instead driven by an extreme love for Peeta.

During her campaign in the victory tour, Katniss faces more problems and blackmails, which made her to decide that she will devote herself in protecting Peeta from their competitors. Can Katniss and Peeta once again win the death game?

Covet - Battle between the spirits (A Novel of the Fallen Angels by J. R. Ward)

J. R. Ward is an American author, well-known for her contemporary romance. She began writing as a child, collecting her thoughts in diaries as well as inventing short stories.

Covet is the first novel in the 'Fallen Angels' series written by J R Ward, in which romance and redemption kick off between angels and demons as the final outcome is determined by seven battles for seven souls. The only thing that stands between those souls and damnation is Jim Heron -- a man, who has lived a life of sin and killing. As Jim is a former military killer, he has seen too much of the world.

Suddenly everything changes, when a freak accident kills him and he is brought back as a fallen angel with a mission, to save seven souls, each from one of the seven deadly sins in order to keep all that is good in the world. In short, Covet A Novel of the Fallen Angels is all about the battle between the spirits of heaven and hell.

Airman by Eoin Colfer - Born to fly

Eoin Colfer is an Irish author and comedian. He is most famous as the creator of the Artemis Fowl series and has also achieved success with other books.
