The Unravellers by Tracey Morley - An Adventurous Story Book

Tracey Morley lives with her husband, Kevin, and their two children in Reigate, Surrey. She is graduated in Social Sciences and currently works in a school for children with special educational needs. She firmly believes that the more imaginative texts will make the story better. This is Tracey' first book for children. Kevin is a developer but also finds the time to work as a freelance illustrator. His artworks bring life to the text in this book.

“The Unravellers”, by Tracey Morley is an adventures story that begins with two children -- Sam and Danny who trips to their aunt’s inn in the village of Travin Cove, on a secret mission to hunt for a mysterious object discovered by their granddad, Bob many years before and in doing so somehow to bring the village back to life, carrying a puzzling letter from their granddad and the key to a dusty old cabinet at the inn.

As the story moves on, these two children at one stage misses the key, while on a trip to beach and accidentally meets Winkle, who finally loves sets him on a terrifying journey of survival to the mysterious world of the Beachcombers and prophecies. The lives of Danny, Sam and Winkle are soon fatefully interwoven as they become destined to solve the cryptic riddles and prophecies of Wiseweed, leader of the Beachcombers.

Through Sam’s inspired plans, Danny's brilliant logic and Winkle's knowledge of Weed World, the Unravellers change the fortunes of the Beachcombers and restore life in the village. Beautifully described, the storylines take the readers into an adventurous mood and the illustrator’s artwork displays the creatures of the weed world in before their eyes, thereby taking them a trip to the seaside.
