Tempted All Night by Liz Carlyle - A Romance

Liz Carlyle is an American author, well known for her historical romance novels.

“Tempted All Night” is a romantic, thriller story book that revolves around the two main characters who try to find out the mystery behind the death of a Russian and the missing woman. Miss Phaedra Northampton and Miss Zoe Armstrong are best friends who couldn't be more distinct from each other. Phaedra is a good English lady, who has a sharp wit, but never showed it out. But Zoe is a kind of girl who lives for her satisfaction and never bothers about the wrong way she chooses to achieve her happiness. Moreover, she uses Phaedra for correcting her faults, which sometimes brings out trouble to both of them.

Phaedra tries to keep a secret away form her family that she is trying to help her maid look for the maid’s sister, Millie. When she is on the quest to locate Millie, she witnesses a mysterious Russian, Gorsky falls dead at her feet, a knife stabbed at his back. Handsome rake Tristan Talbot, son of the marquess of Hauxton, goes on the search for the killer since his father insisted to do so, and Phaedra insists on helping him to investigate this death since she suspects there is a link between Gorsky’s death and Millie's disappearance.

In the meanwhile, Tristan and Phaedra fall in love with each other, but they both try to avoid it as much as they can. As the danger surrounding the investigation develops, so does the feelings between Tristan and Phaedra, causing unexpected problems to arise. Will the duo find out the killer?
